So I have a lot of near enough everything - from shoes, bags, clothes and even things like mugs and pens - I have an excess about of STUFF. For me personally it's unhealthy amount in that I have so much stuff that causes a lot of mess that it distresses me on a daily basis. I normally end up just sitting in bed, watching Netflix and being unproductive day in, day out and it's got to the point where it needs to stop.
I am determined to Cut The Clutter once and for all or at least significantly reduce it!
To help me I've read a few books on how to get rid of things from Marie Kondos' The Life-Changing Magic Of Tidying to I Want To Be Organised by Harriet Griffey amongst various other titles. And although each book has their own systems they tell you to implement to tidy up I don't believe that one way of cutting the clutter works for me - I'd say that a combination of different techniques all meshed together will be hopefully what makes me be able to Cut My Clutter!
Will update you on progress soon! Any hints and tips then please let me know - I need all the help and advice I can get!

Life: Motivational Monday
So the first day of August this year happens to have fallen on a Monday & to kick start this month I thought I'd do a Motivational Monday post seeing as it's been a while. So July has been quite rubbish in all honesty so I'm wanting to go into August feeling positive & I want to end it positive - I'll end it half positive if I have to!
So to get me on the road for August & so the rest of the year I purchased a new diary to get myself all set & organised finally. I keep trying to get myself motivated to actually do and things but lately it's all been very blah, blah, blah for me! But I've decided to make no more excuses to slowly but surely get everything in order!
'Don't Let Anyone Ever Dull Your Sparkle' for me is really motivational & positive for me to look at and think about for those days when people & things are really getting you down it's always handy to have something to give you a little kick of inspiration. Plus the diary is the perfect size to carry about & be on the go with & to make sure that I am actually getting stuff done in my life! The best thing is that it was only a £1 from Poundland!
So go on everyone and make sure you keep your Sparkle shining bright!
Cheers & Loves

Beauty: Barry M Super Satin Lip Paints
I have been meaning to settle down and write this post for so long but it's never actually happened. So today I am going to sit here and write about the Barry M Super Satin Lip Paints - wow that is a long name!
So first of all THE PACKAGING - The packaging is this mirrored silver bullet which is like the other Barry M lipsticks smalller than your average lipstick size. However this proves brilliant when you are going on a night out or using a small bag as they literally take up no room at all.
THE PRICE - They are priced at £4.99 from Superdrug which is a fairly reasonable price and generally you are able to get them on some offer for example buy one get one free or a 3 for 2 offer. I have however seen them in some places priced at £5.99 so it might be worth keeping an eye on that.
THE COLOURS - I don't know exactly how many colours are in this range but I currently have 5 and I love every shade although some are more daytime wearable for me and some are definitely more for the night.
Swatches of the shades I have are below -
OVERVIEW OF THE LIPSTICK - These lipsticks are really wearable and creamy on the lips and are highly pigmented. Some of the darker shades I need to apply a lip liner for before applying as they tend to bleed into the lips.

They last for a fair amount of time on my lips which is no mean feat considering normally within an hour lipstick has to be reapplied. Overall I really rate and like these lipsticks and there are a enough shades to choose from without being overwhelmed by choice!

New Products: Lips - Rimmel, Sleek & Soap and Glory
So another new products post and this time it's new lip products that I have bought that are new in that they may have been out for a few weeks but they are still fairly newly released.
Anyway I have three products - One from Rimmel, One from Sleek and One from Soap & Glory.
Soap & Glory relaunched their entire lipstick collection into three colour ranges - Pinks, Reds and Nudes. I will be honest there were not many of the colours that really appealed to me, the new packaging is great but the colours for me were more miss than hit.
One shade that I thought I'd give a go was a nude shade called Cinnamon Beige in Matte effect. This is a dark nude so it's not something I would wear everyday as I'm someone who does the 'barely there' in the day but for nights out this really is a great lipstick.
All Soap & Glory lipsticks are £9.00 and available from Boots.

Anyway I have three products - One from Rimmel, One from Sleek and One from Soap & Glory.
So Rimmel have bought out a brand new selection of lipsticks and nail varnishes to celebrate 15 years of Rimmel & Kate Moss. And being a huge Kate Moss fan and also fully falling in love with the rose gold packaging I decided I had to pick one up.
The shade I went for was 56 in Boho Nude - in the collection there are 6 lipsticks altogether with 3 nudes and 3 reds. Basically the signature shades that Kate herself is known for wearing.
These new lipsticks are priced at £6.49 and available from Boots and Superdrug!
Sleek is well know for their great pigmented blushers but they do have some great lip products as well and the latest edition is the Sleek Lip Power Plump Pencils. These are really pigmented and once applied within about a minute actually make your lips tingle hence the plump in the name. The colour I got was Berry Burst and as of yet I haven't actually used it but definitely feel this is a great one for a night out. These are priced at £5.49.

Beauty: Mini Kiko Haul
Kiko is a brand that I haven't tried a lot of products from but the ones that I have used have been of a really good quality. Over the weekend I went to visit my sister in London and we ended up spending most of the day in Covent Garden where there is a Kiko store so I felt as though I should have a little browse......and this lot ended up in my basket!
So first up the nail polishes were £1.00 each, placed right near the tills and so I literally just put the colours that caught my eye in. Originally I bought 11 however I stockpiled because I knew my sister wanted some new polishes and we ended up sharing them out between us.
I also picked up - Natural Concealer in 01, Super Colour Mascara in 03 (Green) and Nourishing Night Lip Balm.

New Products: L'oreal, Batiste, Benefit & Coke
L'oreal have launched a brand new trio of Pure Clay Face Masks - Detox Mask, Purity Mask & Glow Mask. The one I picked up was the Pure Clay Detox Mask that detoxifies and clarifies your skin.
All three of the masks in the collection are currently £5.00 in Boots - will normally be £7.99.
Batiste have been branching out and expanding their product range in the past year with the Batiste Stylist range. The newest edition I found sitting on the shelves was the Hydrating Oil Mist.
This is priced at £4.49.
Benefit are known for their cult products that everyone raves about and everyone loves but until now there's never been a product that I've actually felt like 'Yes it's worth the money!' And it's all down to the Gimme Brow Volumising Brow Gel.
So I got this generous sized sample in with the August Glamour Magazine as a free gift and I am so glad that I did. I am the laziest person with my eye brows to the point my mum and sister nag me about I need to sort them out. Also I tend to over pluck and so it sometimes looks as though I don't even have a pair however this stuff instantly makes them appear - it instantly volumises them. It does it without faff or hassle and I thank you Benefit!
This is £18.50 - pricey I know - but I really love this a lot!
And finally Coke have done 2 special bottles for the Ab Fab movie and I adore them.
I just really like these so thought I'd give them a little mention. These can be bought in Boots for £2.50 but I got mine on buy one get one free!

Book Chat: Oxfam Book Haul
I buy so many books that my bookcase is currently overflowing & try as I might I just can't get rid of any the books even after I've read them but that doesn't stop me from buying more & more.
So the a few weeks ago I popped into my local Oxfam books and picked a few more to add to my oversized collection & I found some brilliant finds in there. I've never been in an Oxfam shop that is purely dedicated to books but I was really impressed.
So the books I picked up were:
- At First Sight - Nicholas Sparks
- The Diary of Anne Frank
- Revenge Wears Prada - Lauren Weisberger
- Suite Francaise - Irene Nemirovsky
- The Confidence Code - Katty Kay & Claire Shipman
The grand total I paid for these 5 books was £12.00 so if you have an Oxfam books near you then definitely pop in because you don't know what you'll find & you are also giving to charity!
I definitely think this will now be my go to shop when in need of a new book & I will be having a real look at my overflowing shelves to see if there's any that I could donate to them also.
